Children’s Meeting

Every Sunday morning, we hold a Children’s Meeting where our younger Friends can explore Quaker beliefs and values in ways that are engaging and appropriate for their age. The children usually meet in their own space during Meeting for Worship, and partake in creative activities that help them reflect, learn, and share together. Towards the end of worship, they re-join the main Meeting for the final 5-10 minutes, taking part in all-age worship and sharing with the community what they have been doing and discovering.

Though we run a separate Children’s Meeting, Friends of all ages are welcome in the meeting room for Meeting for Worship.

If you have any questions about Children’s Meeting, please get in touch with childrens@westminsterquakers.org.uk.

Sam – Children’s Coordinator

Hi, I’m Sam and I’ve been appointed by the meeting to coordinate the Children’s Meeting. I’m here to make sure that we have enough Children’s Workers, to keep on top of the admin like DBS checks and Safeguarding training, and to Clerk our Children’s Committee.

If you’d like any more information, you can reach me at childrens@westminsterquakers.org.uk.
